Petits débrouillards d'Alsace


The association Les Petits Débrouillards d’Alsace (The Resourceful Children of Alsace) is made of scientists, teachers, students and activity leaders, who organize scientific and technical experiments for people of all ages, especially children and teenagers. They have a regional office here in Strasbourg, Alsace.
Since 1984, the association encourages young people to learn facts by conducting their own experiments, thus giving them the opportunity to satisfy their curiosity and get a new look on the world surrounding them. This whole initiative is designed to train active citizens, capable of reflexion and criticism.

The Petits Débrouillards d’Alsace’s charter :

  • Help people discover science the fun way, in order to establish a lasting relationship between them and scientific knowledge
  • Foster the pleasure of learning things, exchanging opinions, expressing oneself and debating with others
  •  Give the layman a taste of the scientific approach, which benefits from being curious, making researches, having freedom to experiment and taking initiatives
  •  Develop the spirit of sharing and solidarity, as well as the respect of others.
